The courses are highly structured days from 09:30 to 14:30 that include 4 hours of learning, broken down into focused teaching, exam practice and feedback to build knowledge.
Learners complete activities to identify individual strengths and weaknesses within the subject's core topics.
15 minute break.
Targeted teaching. The tutor covers the most difficult or high-yield topics identified in session 1 using explanations and examples.
30 mins break.
Active recall and application. Learners use revision techniques to build skills in answering practice questions. Consolidation of weak points. The tutor revisits common areas of difficulty, addressing topics or exam techniques that the group find challenging.
15 minute break.
Review and Q&A. The focus is on consolidating knowledge and boosting confidence before the exams. The tutor addresses questions and common errors from the day's work and provides further revision skills to practice.
